Effects of α-Linolenic Acid on Seminiferous Tubule Morphology and UCHL1-Positive Cells in Cultured Testicular Tissue Fragments from a 3-Month-Old Hu Ram: A Pilot Study [PDF]
α-linolenic acid (ALA) has been reported to benefit testicular function. However, dietary ALA is extensively metabolized in the rumen, whereas isolated cell models do not retain seminiferous tubule structure or interactions among testicular cells.

Deep-learning-based automated prediction of mouse seminiferous tubule stage by using bright-field microscopy [PDF]
Infertility is a global issue, and approximately 50% of cases are due to male factors, with defective spermatogenesis being the main one. For studies of spermatogenesis, evaluating the seminiferous tubule stage is essential.

Kaliandra honey improves testosterone levels, diameter and epithelial thickness of seminiferous tubule of white rat (Rattus norvegicus) due to malnutrition through stimulation of HSP70 [PDF]
Background: Malnutrition can cause an increase in oxidative stress as it triggers the expression of Heat Shock Protein70 (HSP70), a chaperon molecule that is needed to repair damaged cells within optimal levels.

Chitosan and Chitosan Oligosaccharide Enhance Cryopreservation of Rabbit Testicular Tissue [PDF]
Testicular tissue cryopreservation is a key strategy for preserving fertility in adult males, yet optimal cryoprotective protocols have yet to be established.

Histological Findings in Testes of Baboons (Papio spp.) and Dwarf Bucks (Capra hircus) Subject to Repeated Immunisation Against GnRH. [PDF]
Long‐term repeated immunisation against GnRH resulted in the absence of active spermatogenesis and may lead to irreversible infertility in dwarf bucks and baboons. Histological examination revealed a marked reduction of the seminiferous tubular lumen, complete depletion of germ cells, germ cell vacuolization and tubular hyalinization.

Effects of a standardized 40% ellagic acid pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) extract on seminiferous tubule histopathology, diameter, and epithelium thickness in albino Wistar rats after heat exposure [PDF]
Background and Aim: It has long been known that the spermatogenic tissue is very sensitive to temperatures higher than its physiologic temperature and causing cessation of activity and resulting in sterility.

Humanin ameliorates diabetes-induced testicular damage in a streptozotocin-induced mouse model. [PDF]
Abstract Diabetes mellitus is a major metabolic disorder closely associated with oxidative stress and male reproductive dysfunction. Humanin, a mitochondria‐derived peptide, has been reported to exert cytoprotective, anti‐apoptotic and antioxidant effects in various disease models; however, its role in diabetes‐induced testicular damage remains unclear.

Context-dependent effects of whole-body vibration on reproductive function and penile tissue integrity in sedentary male rats. [PDF]
Abstract Sedentary behaviour is increasingly recognized as a risk factor for systemic disorders; however, its effects on male reproductive health and penile tissue integrity remain insufficiently understood. Furthermore, the therapeutic role of whole‐body vibration (WBV) has not been investigated. This study evaluated the effects of sedentary behaviour

Three-dimensional morphological analysis of spermatogenesis in aged mouse testes
Spermatogenesis, which is a continuous process from undifferentiated spermatogonia to spermatozoa in the seminiferous tubules, declines with age. To investigate changes in spermatogenesis with aging, we reconstructed the seminiferous tubules of 12 mice ...
