Enhancing ELISA Sensitivity: From Surface Engineering to Synthetic Biology
Accurate and sensitive detection of protein biomarkers is critical for advancing in vitro diagnostics (IVD), yet conventional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) often fall short in terms of sensitivity compared to nucleic acid-based tests ...

Sensitivity Analysis of Flexible Provisioning
This technical report contains a sensitivity analysis to extend our previous work. We show that our flexible service provisioning strategy is robust to inaccurate performance information (when the available information is within 10% of the true value ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

New Uses for Sensitivity Analysis: How Different Movement Tasks Effect Limb Model Parameter Sensitivity [PDF]
Original results for a newly developed eight-order nonlinear limb antagonistic muscle model of elbow flexion and extension are presented. A wider variety of sensitivity analysis techniques are used and a systematic protocol is established that shows how ...

Rad27/FEN1 prevents accumulation of Okazaki fragments and ribosomal DNA copy number changes
The budding yeast Rad27 is a structure‐specific endonuclease. Here, the authors reveal that Rad27 is crucial for maintaining the stability of the ribosomal RNA gene (rDNA) region. Rad27 deficiency leads to the accumulation of Okazaki fragments and changes in rDNA copy number.
