Sensitivity Analysis in Variational Inequalities [PDF]
In this paper we derive conditions for the local uniqueness, continuity and differentiability of a solution of parametric variational inequalities. Our approach is new and has a strong geometric flavor. As an illustration we discuss the sensitivity of the classical complementarity problem.

The Role of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in Ataxia‐Telangiectasia
ABSTRACT Background Ataxia‐telangiectasia (A‐T) is a DNA repair disorder characterized by neurodegeneration, immunodeficiency, and cancer predisposition. Hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is an established therapy in related disorders such as Fanconi anemia (FA) and Nijmegen breakage syndrome (NBS), but its role in A‐T is unclear.

Sensitivity analysis of burns integrals
In the paper the numerical analysis of thermal processes proceeding in the domain of biological tissue subjected to an external heat source is presented. Heat transfer in the skin tissue was assumed to be transient and two-dimensional.

A method for uncertainty and sensitivity analysis in fuel performance codes
The present study proposes a method for the execution of uncertainty and sensitivity analysis on TRANSURANUS code, adapted for the use of stainless steel AISI-348 as the cladding material for a PWR reactor fuel rod, thus allowing to determine which input

ABSTRACT Background Pediatric sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of tumors that contribute disproportionately to cancer mortality in children. Although congenital anomalies are among the strongest known risk factors for childhood cancer, the risk of specific sarcoma subtypes among affected individuals has not yet been thoroughly evaluated. Procedure We

SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS WITH FINITE-ELEMENT METHOD FOR MICROWAVE DESIGN AND OPTIMIZATION [PDF]
The thesis proposes a novel method for the computation of the design sensitivity of microwave network parameters. The approach is based on the finite-element method.

Cross-cultural analysis is all about comparing groups. Whether the groups being compared are countries, ethnicities, religions, or scientific fields, the goal is always to assess whether these groups differ in some respect and to interpret those differences in substantive terms.

ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

Method of hierarchical global sensitivity analysis and its application in groundwater models
Objective Sensitivity analysis is an crucial tool in groundwater modelling for measuring the importance of various model inputs, enabling better allocation of limited funds and resources to reduce predictive uncertainty. Methods In this paper, we propose
