Reconfigurable Multi-Channel Gas-Sensor Array for Complex Gas Mixture Identification and Fish Freshness Classification [PDF]
Oxide semiconductor gas sensors are widely used due to their low cost, rapid response, small footprint, and ease of integration. However, in complex gas mixtures their selectivity is often limited by inherent cross-sensitivity.

A Comprehensive Evaluation Model for Optimizing the Sensor Array of Electronic Nose
As the acquisition unit of gas information, the sensor array directly determines the overall performance of the electronic nose system (E-nose). This paper proposed a new method for optimizing the sensor array.

An Optimal Shaped Sensor Array Derivation
In Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) applications, the Direction of Arrival (DoA) estimation of Guided Waves (GW) on sensor arrays is often used as a fundamental means to locate Acoustic Sources (AS) generated by damages growth or undesired impacts in thin-wall structures (e.g., plates or shells).

Optimal node density for two-dimensional sensor arrays [PDF]
The problem of optimal node density for ad hoc sensor networks deployed for making inferences about two dimensional correlated random fields is considered. Using a symmetric first order conditional autoregressive Gauss-Markov random field model, large deviations results are used to characterize the asymptotic per-node information gained from the array.
