ABSTRACT Gut microbiota dysbiosis promotes colorectal cancer (CRC) tumorigenesis. A global fecal metagenomic analysis identified Gemella morbillorum as a key contributor to the CRC‐associated microbiota. Fluorescence in situ hybridization revealed that Gemella morbillorum is enriched in CRC tumor tissues compared to adjacent normal tissues.

Tropical forest degradation in the context of climate change: increasing role and research challenges. [K-2215-01] [PDF]
While developed countries in temperate regions faced their forest transition about 100 years ago or more, “tropical forest rich” nations still largely depend on forest resources or land clearing for their development.

A cascade‐responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF/GelMA hydrogel is engineered as a “skeleton–backpack” platform for extensive tracheal repair. The MXene framework scavenges postoperative ROS and converts NIR light into mild hyperthermia, while the Cu‐MOF component provides pH/NIR‐responsive Cu2+ dosing for infection control, angiogenesis, and chondrogenesis.

Rapid submarine ice melting in the grounding zones of ice shelves in West Antarctica. [PDF]
Enhanced submarine ice-shelf melting strongly controls ice loss in the Amundsen Sea embayment (ASE) of West Antarctica, but its magnitude is not well known in the critical grounding zones of the ASE's major glaciers.

Sentinel-1A: Analysis of FDBAQ Performance on Real Data
This paper concerns the performance of the flexible dynamic block adaptive quantizer (FDBAQ), which is the onboard data compression scheme used by Sentinel-1 (S-1), i.e., the C-band synthetic aperture radar (SAR) constellation whose first satellite (Sentinel-1A) has been launched on April 3, 2014. The data rate that results from the fine resolution and

We report a rational design strategy for STING antagonists by dual covalent targeting of Cys292/309 in its C‐terminal domain, directly preventing functional oligomerization. Through covalent warhead repurposing, we identified P005091 and revealed its unique dual‐cysteine mechanism.
