Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Labor Market Attachment: Sequence Analysis
ObjectivesPolycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine disorder in women of fertile age which may also affect the labor market attachment. We investigated labor market attachment trajectories among working age women diagnosed with PCOS.MethodsA ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Genetic Sequence Analysis of Human Inherited Diseases
[[abstract]]Inherited diseases vitally endanger the life of human. There are about twenty thousand genes cooperated to maintain the works in a cell, even if only one gene is failure, it may bring serious result and become disease.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Data Mining for Simple Sequence Repeats in Oil Palm Expressed Sequence Tags
Expressed Sequence Tags or ESTs are small pieces of DNA sequence that are generated by sequencing either one or both ends of an expressed gene. ESTs provide researchers with a quick and inexpensive route for discovering new genes, for obtaining data on ...

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.
