Profile decomposition for sequences of Borel measures [PDF]
arXiv, 2014 We prove that, if dichotomy occurs when the concentration-compactness principle is used, the dichotomizing sequence can be choosen so that a nontrivial part of it concentrates. Iterating this argument leads to a profile decomposition for arbitrary sequences of bounded Borel measures.

FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Most MmpLs transport lipids and glycolipids of the complex mycomembrane of mycobacteria. This study shows that MmpL10 from Mycobacterium smegmatis, the transporter of the trehalose polyphosphate precursor, harbors a coiled‐coil‐like extension. Biochemical and electron microscopy studies demonstrate that the coiled‐coil enables MmpL10 to trimerize.
