Junction Physics and Architectural Paradigms in Optoelectronic Semiconductor Fibers
Optoelectronic fibers are emerging as a key platform for distributed sensing, energy harvesting, and optical communication in deformable systems. Their performance is fundamentally governed by junction formation under confined, dynamic processing conditions.

How2Sketch: Generating Easy-To-Follow Tutorials for Sketching 3D Objects [PDF]
Accurately drawing 3D objects is difficult for untrained individuals, as it requires an understanding of perspective and its effects on geometry and proportions.

High Probability Frequency Moment Sketches [PDF]
We consider the problem of sketching the p-th frequency moment of a vector, p>2, with multiplicative error at most 1 +/- epsilon and with high confidence 1-delta.

We introduce the concept of a subjective camera to reconstruct meaningful moments that physical cameras fail to capture. We propose Subjective Camera 1.0, a framework for reconstructing real-world scenes from readily accessible subjective readouts, i.e., textual descriptions and progressively drawn rough sketches.

Exploring cyberbullying through visual narratives [PDF]
This poster abstract reports on a study that examined the use of visual narratives to explore young people’s views on cyberbullying and for generating design interventions that would combat mean and cruel behavior online.

ABSTRACT Layered 2D materials are considered as promising for memristive applications due to their ultimate vertical scalability compared to conventional semiconductor films and pronounced hysteresis properties. Bias‐resolved Raman and Photoluminescence mapping is used to quantify strain from phonon shifts and carrier density from the exciton‐trion ...

Low‐Power Control Of Resistance Switching Transitions in First‐Order Memristors
Joule losses are a serious concern in modern integrated circuit design. In this regard, minimizing the energy necessary for programming memristors should be handled with care. This manuscript presents an optimal control framework, allowing to derive energy‐efficient programming voltage protocols for resistance switching devices. Following this approach,

Sketching in adversarial environments
We formalize a realistic model for computations over massive data sets. The model, referred to as the adversarial sketch model, unifies the well-studied sketch and data stream mod-els together with a cryptographic flavor that considers the execution of ...

Model‐Based Time‐Modulated Write Algorithm for 1R Analog Memristive Crossbar Arrays
A novel model‐based time‐modulated write algorithm efficiently programs analog 1R memristive crossbar arrays by varying pulse duration at a fixed voltage. By leveraging a physics‐based compact model and a dynamic gain mechanism, this approach overcomes device nonlinearities and parasitic effects.
