Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Matrix Transformations of Generalized Almost Convergent Double Sequences
In this paper, we study matrix transformations on spaces of generalized almost convergent double sequences with powers. Extending classical results of Lorentz, Maddox, and Nanda, we characterize several classes of infinite matrices that map between ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Multipliers of Sequence Spaces
Let \(A = (a_{nk})\) be a triangular nonnegative regular summability matrix. Denote by \(m_ A\) the linear space of sequences \(\{s_ n\}\) such that the \(A\)-transform is bounded. Let \((c_ 0)_ A\) be the closed subspace of sequences \(\{t_ n\}\) which are evaluated to 0 by \(A\). Denote by \(m_ A\) the Banach space \(\widetilde m_ A/(c_ 0)_ A\).

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

2-convexity and 2-concavity in Schatten ideals. [PDF]
The properties p-convexity and q-concavity are fundamental in the study of Banach sequence spaces (see [L-TzII]), and in recent years have been shown to be of great significance in the theory of the corresponding Schatten ideals ([G-TJ], [LP-P] and many ...

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified
