Tauberian conditions for Conull spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1985
The typical Tauberian theorem asserts that a particular summability method cannot map any divergent member of a given set of sequences into a convergent sequence. These sets of sequences are typically defined by an “order growth” or “gap” condition.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Increasing sequences of sets and preservation of properties

open access: yes, 2018
We deal with increasing sequences of sets: by considering sequences of sets in a given class, we study when the closure of the union belongs to the same class.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

On Statıstıcal Convergence Of Sequences Of Sets

open access: yes, 2015
This thesis consists of six main parts. In the first part, the historical development of the subject and a general literature about it are given. In the second part, basic definitions, notations and theorems necessary for our work are illustrated.

Nested sequences of stars and starshaped sets

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper we consider nested (decreasing and increasing) sequences of stars or starshaped sets in Banach spaces. The intersection, if decreasing, and the closure of the union, if increasing, are studied with regards to the preservation of these ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

A Set Of Conjectures On Smarandache Sequences

open access: yes, 2001
Searching through the Archives of the Arizona State University, I found interesting sequences of numbers and problems related to them. I display some of them, and the readers are welcome to contribute with solutions or ideas.

I-Cesàro summability of sequences of sets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, we defined concept of Wijsman I-Cesàro summability for sequences of sets and investigate the relationships between the concepts of Wijsman strongly I-Cesàro summability, Wijsman strongly I-lacunary summability, Wijsman p-strongly I-Cesàro ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
