Fluorescent BODIPY‐conjugated thiosemicarbazone ligands and their Ga(III), In(III), and Fe(III) complexes, inspired by Triapine, are developed as theranostic agents. Multiphoton FLIM and confocal microscopy in cancer cells and zebrafish reveal real‐time uptake, mitochondrial localisation, and whilst spectroscopic assays indicated preserved complex ...

Purpose: To assess the feasibility of sequentially administering Gd-DTPA and Mn-DPDP for the MR imaging of focal hepatic lesions, and to investigate whether the procedures involved led to any adverse effects. Materials and Methods: Forty-two patients (M:F=25:17) with suspected hepatic lesions underwent T1-weighted MR imaging procedures before and after

This study demonstrates that transcription factor androgen receptor (AR) directly binds the LF promoter, driving lactoferrin overexpression to promote ferritin (FTH1/FTL) upregulation and inhibit p53‐ALOX12‐mediated ferroptosis in prostate cancer. Lactoferrin could be a new potential therapeutic target in prostate cancer.

A chemical mechanism for tissue staining by osmium tetroxide-ferrocyanide mixtures.
The presence of Fe(CN)6(-4) provides sequential, one-electron reduction pathways for OSO4. An equilibrium is established containing OSO4, Fe(CN)6(-4), Fe(CN)6(-3), OSO2(OH)4(-4), and labile cyano-bridged OS-Fe species containing Os in nominal oxidation ...

Monoclonal antibodies are powerful anticancer therapeutics targeting tumor‐associated antigens. Mass spectrometry enables precise and accurate quantification of mAbs in tumor plasma and healthy organs. Unlike ligand binding assay and radioactivity, mass spectrometry does not suffer from matrix effects and labelling artefacts while facilitating method ...

In rheumatoid arthritis, synovial Tregs accumulate but are functionally impaired due to iron overload‐induced ferroptosis. This triggers mitochondrial dysfunction and TXK tyrosine kinase‐mediated signaling, leading to Treg destabilization and inflammation.
