Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Numerical simulation of CO2-ECBM based on 3D heterogeneous geological model

open access: yesMeitan xuebao, 2023
CO2 geological sequestration-enhanced coalbed methane (CO2-ECBM) strengthens the development of coalbed methane (CBM) and realizes the stimulation of coalbed methane wells. At the same time, CO2 is stored in deep coal seams.

Sequential determination of iron and titanium by flow-injection analysis [PDF]

open access: yesTalanta, 1992
A flow-injection method has been developed for the sequential spectrophotometric determination of iron and titanium using 3,4 dihydroxybenzoic acid as chromogenic reagent. The system involves the sequential measurement of the absorbances of the complexes at 380 and 570 nm. The system is designed using a simultaneous injection of sample and reagent into

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Pengaruh Konsentrasi Asam Pikrat pada Penentuan Kreatinin Menggunakan Sequential Injection Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015

Combustion regimes in sequential combustors: Flame propagation and autoignition at elevated temperature and pressure

open access: yes, 2018
This numerical study investigates the combustion modes in the second stage of a sequential combustor at atmospheric and high pressure. The sequential burner (SB) features a mixing section with fuel injection into a hot vitiated crossflow.

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...
