Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Protocol Specification Extraction Based on Contiguous Sequential Pattern Algorithm

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
As the amount of Internet traffic increases due to newly emerging applications and their malicious behaviors, the amount of traffic that must be analyzed is rapidly increasing. Many protocols that occur under these situations are unknown and undocumented.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Detecting news topics from microblogs using sequential pattern mining

open access: yes, 2014
This thesis presents a sequential pattern based model (PMM) to detect news topics from a popular microblogging platform, Twitter. PMM captures key topics and measures their importance using pattern properties and Twitter characteristics. This study shows

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Fuzzy Sequential Pattern Mining over Quantitative Streams

open access: yesInternational Journal of Information and Communication Technology Research, 2019
Sequential pattern mining is an interesting data mining problem with many real-world applications. Though new applications introduce a new form of data called data stream, no study has been reported on mining sequential patterns from the quantitative ...
