Ac‐SDKP modulates apoptosis via HSP27 and the FAS/FASL and mitochondrial axes
Schematic diagram of Ac‐SDKP regulating the FAS/FASL and mitochondrial apoptosis pathways via HSP27. Ac‐SDKP inhibits HSP27 expression, activates the FAS/FASL pathway and Caspase‐3 signaling, increases Caspase‐8 and Caspase‐3 expression, and induces cell apoptosis.

Evaluating the degradation of absorbable medical devices in vitro demands physiologically relevant conditions. This study presents a comprehensive framework applied to a three‐layered silk fibroin/polyurethane arteriovenous graft, employing human enzymes at physiological concentrations over 6 months. Multiparametric analyses of both graft structure and

Chemical peptide synthesis allows the generation of structurally highly diverse compounds suited for ligand development, but current methods in parallel peptide synthesis limit the achievable library size to a few thousand. A strategy is presented based on combinatorial pairing of short peptides via disulfide linkage that enables the generation and ...

Peptide‐to‐Small Molecule Paradigm: Peptidomimetics have evolved from simple mimicry toward drug‐like scaffolds supported by increasing clinical successes. This Perspective highlights the geometric design principles—linear repetition, convergent fusion, and cyclization—defining the next‐generation peptidomimetic architectures capable of targeting ...

In Vitro Selection of Functional Neoproteins Containing Highly Fluorinated Cores
The generation of neoproteins—functional proteins containing unnatural amino acids—is a key goal in synthetic biology. We develop a platform to discover neoproteins with specified bioactivity from trillion‐member sequence libraries, using genetic code reprogramming, in vitro selection and microwave peptide synthesis.
