Determination of Ceruloplasmin Oxidase in Serum
SummaryA method for determination of ceruloplasmin in serum is presented in which rate of oxidation of p-phenylenediamine is measured spectrophotometrically or photometrically. Correction for catalytic oxidation by free metals present is made by reading the test against a serum blank in which enzymatic activity is inhibited by azide.

Serum ceruloplasmin levels in preeclampsia: a meta-analysis
To evaluate the differences in serum ceruloplasmin levels between patients with preeclampsia and healthy controls. We searched the Medline (1966-2017), Scopus (2004-2017), Clinicaltrials.gov (2008-2017), Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials CENTRAL (1999-2017), and Google Scholar (2004-2017) databases.

Dietary Copper Reduces the Hepatotoxicity of (−)-Epigallocatechin-3-Gallate in Mice
We developed Cu-deficient, -sufficient and -super nutrition mice models by feeding them with diet containing 1.68, 11.72 or 51.69 mg of Cu/kg for 28 days, respectively. Then, the mice were treated to (−)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG, 750 mg/kg BW) by

A Micromethod for the Determination of Ferroxidase (Ceruloplasmin) in Human Serums
Abstract A sensitive method for the detection of ceruloplasmin (ferroxidase) in human serums, using Fe(II) as the substrate, is described. Initial Fe(II) concentrations of 30 and 120 µM may be used, depending on the sensitivity of the spectrophotometer, for the determination of the rate of Fe(III) -transferrin formation following the ...
