Enhancing CAR‐T Cell Efficacy in Solid Tumors by Inhibiting CCL5/VEGF‐Mediated Angiogenesis
This study reveals that CAR‐T cells in solid tumors produce CCL5, which paradoxically induces VEGF and angiogenesis to promote tumor growth. Blocking CCL5/VEGF signaling—through gene knockout, or the CCR5 inhibitor maraviroc—significantly enhances the antitumor efficacy of CAR‑T therapy (the diagram was created in Biorender).

This study reported renal‐clearable bio‐orthogonal near‐infrared fluorogenic probes (BGRs) that specifically imaging and urinalysis of granzyme B for dynamic evaluation of RCC immunotherapy. BGRs not only differentiate immunotherapeutic responses in orthotopic RCC mice, but also enable sensitive optical urinalysis of granzyme B in clinical specimens ...

Determination of prostate-specific antigen in serum by immunoradiometric assay
Abstract A better understanding is needed of the role of pre-analytical factors if prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is to be reliably used as a tumor marker. Reports on the analytical performance of TANDEM-R PSA (Hybritech, Inc., San Diego, CA) differ considerably with respect to detection limit and imprecision, differences that might be ...

Oral WT1‐targeted Bifidobacterium longum vaccine promotes WT1‐associated cellular immunity and enhances anti‐PD‐1/anti‐CTLA‐4 efficacy in pancreatic cancer. ABSTRACT Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remains largely unresponsive to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) due to its profoundly immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.

Serum levels of androgens and prostate-specific antigen in endometriosis
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the levels of serum androgens and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels in patients with endometriosis.Patients with Stage III/IV (advanced stage) endometriosis were compared to controls with respect to basal serum levels of total testosterone (T), free testosterone (fT), androstenedion (A ...

A novel resistance mechanism is mediated through phagocytosis of cancer cells by AR+ TAMs. This process, dependent on ANXA2, enables macrophages to acquire AR protein from engulfed tumor cells. The internalized AR translocates into the macrophage nucleus, where it binds directly to the IL‐6 promoter, augmenting IL‐6 transcription and secretion ...
