Inhibition of VEGF‐Induced Angiogenesis and Vascular Leakage by Bicistronic Co‐Expression of Aflibercept and COMP‐Ang1

A bicistronic rAAV8 vector encoding Aflibercept (Afb) and COMP‐cAng1 simultaneously coordinates VEGF clearance and Tie2‐mediated vessel maturation. In a 3D angiogenesis‐on‐a‐chip model, rAAV8‐Afb/cAng1 effectively reverses pathological barrier breakdown under clinical disease‐mimicking challenges.

Serm Sulfhydryl Levels and Rheumatoid Factors in Rheumatoid Arthritis

Serum total sulfhydryl level (SH-level) was determined in 285 cases of rheumatoid arthritis and other allied diseases and of healthy subjects. The SH-level was within the normal limits in 28 of 33 cases of rheumatoid arthritis. However, it was slightly lower than that of the controls. The SH-level was subnormal in the remaining 5 cases.

IL‐7R‐Enriched Extracellular Vesicles From the Thymus Drive Colitis via Promoting Neutrophil Extracellular Trap Formation

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) pathogenesis remains unclear. This study reveals that thymus‐originated IL‐7R‐enriched extracellular vesicles exacerbate colitis by promoting neutrophil extracellular traps via a thymus‐gut axis, uncovering an inter‐organ communication mechanism in inflammatory bowel disease pathogenesis.

m6A‐Mediated Glycolysis by IL‐37 Drives T Cell Metabolic Reprogramming to Regulate Colitis

This study identifies an IL‐37/SIGIRR‐METTL14 regulatory axis that suppresses global m6A modification in CD4+ T cells. IL‐37 signaling, mediated through SIGIRR, inhibits IRAK4 and JNK phosphorylation, leading to downregulation of the methyltransferase METTL14.

Rate nephelometric measurement of rheumatoid factor in serum.

Abstract We describe the measurement of rheumatoid factor in human sera with a rate nephelometer. The National Reference Preparation for Rheumatoid Factors is used to calibrate the assay in International Units. We used Hyland Positive Control, Level I, as a secondary standard. The standard curve is exponential, but is linear when plotted
