Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Set-valued convex compositions

open access: yes, 2023
We study the composition of two set-valued functions defined on locally convex topological linear spaces. We assume that these functions map into certain complete lattices of sets that have been used to establish a conjugation theory for set-valued ...

Strict Efficiency in Vector Optimization with Nearly Convexlike Set-Valued Maps

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
The concept of the well posedness for a special scalar problem is linked with strictly efficient solutions of vector optimization problem involving nearly convexlike set-valued maps.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Stability Analysis for Higher-Order Adjacent Derivative in Parametrized Vector Optimization

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2010
By virtue of higher-order adjacent derivative of set-valued maps, relationships between higher-order adjacent derivative of a set-valued map and its profile map are discussed.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

A Kind of New Higher-Order Mond-Weir Type Duality for Set-Valued Optimization Problems

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
In this paper, we introduce the notion of higher-order weak adjacent epiderivative for a set-valued map without lower-order approximating directions and obtain existence theorem and some properties of the epiderivative.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Second-Order Contingent Derivative of the Perturbation Map in Multiobjective Optimization

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2011
Some relationships between the second-order contingent derivative of a set-valued map and its profile map are obtained. By virtue of the second-order contingent derivatives of set-valued maps, some results concerning sensitivity analysis are obtained in
