Model of the process safety management system at an airline

open access: yesНаучный вестник МГТУ ГА
The purpose of the process safety management system is to identify hazard factors and develop a set of methods to prevent injuries at an airline, occupational illness, material costs in case of damage to property and the environment.

Multiple-criteria decision analysis process by using prospect decision theory in interval-valued neutrosophic environment

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, 2020
This study intends to present an innovative study for ranking the alternatives in multiple-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) problems under the interval-valued neutrosophic soft set (IVNSS) environment.

Bernays and Set Theory

open access: yesThe Bulletin of Symbolic Logic, 2009
AbstractWe discuss the work of Paul Bernays in set theory, mainly his axiomatization and his use of classes but also his higher-order reflection principles.

Experience With Performing Rheocarna Therapy via the Single‐Needle Method for Treatment of Chronic Limb‐Threatening Ischemia

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction This study investigated the safety and efficacy of single‐needle Rheocarna therapy for chronic limb‐threatening ischemia (CLTI) with wounds. Methods Six patients with CLTI involving ulcers unresponsive to revascularization underwent single‐needle Rheocarna treatment.

Soft set theory and topology

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2014
In this paper we study and discuss the soft set theory giving new definitions, examples, new classes of soft sets, and properties for mappings between different classes of soft sets.

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Rethinking Set Theory

open access: yesThe American Mathematical Monthly, 2014
Mathematicians manipulate sets with confidence almost every day, rarely making mistakes. Few of us, however, could accurately quote what are often referred to as "the" axioms of set theory. This suggests that we all carry around with us, perhaps subconsciously, a reliable body of operating principles for manipulating sets.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
