Digital Adaptive On-Time and Transient-Optimized Ripple Controlled Buck Converter
Ripple-based buck converters often encounter issues of operating frequency variation, system stability, and steady-state voltage error, leading to degradation in voltage regulation performance. While analog controls are commonly employed to address these

Reduction of settling time by multi-frequency pulsed parametric excitation
Abstract Introducing a time-periodicity into a system parameter leads to parametric excitation, which in general, may cause a parametric resonance with exponentially increased vibration. Applying the same parametric excitation but carefully tuning its frequencies to multiple parametric anti-resonance frequencies is investigated here.

Accurate calculation of settling time in second order systems: a photovoltaic application
A procedure to accurately calculate the settling time of second-order systems for any damping ratio and natural frequency is proposed in this paper. In addition, settling time calculation for second-order systems is reviewed in this paper, illustrating ...

Studies on the Effect of Baffle Plates in Settling Chamber Performance by CFD and Experimental Analysis [PDF]
The performance of the settling chamber was examined in two scenarios in this study. In case 1, the settling chamber collection efficiency and flow characteristics were predicted without a baffle plate.

The distribution of settling velocity of non-spherical mineral particles [PDF]
The settling velocity is an independent variable of the hydraulic separation performed for instance by means of jigs. Therefore, the settling velocity characterizes the material forwarded to the separation process.
