2015Introduction: Dengue is a major public health problem in tropical and subtropical countries but its clinical presentation may be similar to many febrile illnesses. Since in endemic countries laboratory confirmation is frequently delayed, the majority of dengue cases are diagnosed based on patient’s symptomatology.
