A quantitative tuning rule for input modified active disturbance rejection control is derived based on the Nyquist asymptote and desired maximum sensitivity constraint. The rule simplifies parameter tuning to a single variable and shows superior performance in superheater steam temperature system with broad industrial applicability.

Development and test of a small resistive fault current limiting device based on Hg, Re-1223 and Sm-123 ceramics [PDF]
Several reports describing Superconducting Fault Current Limiter (SFCL) containing members of the bismuth or yttrium ceramics were already described. However, none of these included the mercury and samarium cuprates.

Ferromagnetically Shielded Fault Current Limiter (FS‐FCL) Evaluation in Power Line
This study introduces a new ferromagnetically shielded FS‐FCL design and its control strategy for limiting and interrupting fault currents. The fully shielded core structure enhances inductance and prevents saturation, enabling an immediate fault response without causing voltage drop during normal conditions.

Detailed Review of a Novel Model SFCL for Grid [PDF]
Abstract Our paper shows an RL-Indirect SFCL model (RL-I-SFCL). The applied superconducting tape is SF 12100 (Furukawa Electric Group). In the case of the operational current of a grid, the superconducting wire is in a serial connection with the grid as in a resistive SFCL.

Application of resistive super conductor fault current limiter for protection of grid-connected DGs
Penetration of Distributed Generation (DG) into the power system causes technical problems and bad effects on the safety of the system due to increasing the short circuit levels in transmission and distribution networks. So, there will be miscoordination

Multi‐Layer MTDC Protection: Design and Simulation Assessment
This study proposes a novel multi‐layer protection architecture for multi‐terminal DC systems that separates fault current‐limiting and interruption functions. By combining a thyristor‐based fault current limiter with an active resonance circuit breaker, the scheme significantly reduces peak fault currents and di/dt stress, enabling a more compact ...

This paper proposes a modular fault‐limiting strategy that integrates multi‐port modules with DC circuit breakers to enhance system regulation. This coordination enables the use of cost‐effective mechanical breakers while significantly improving the fault‐ride‐through capabilities of the distribution network.

MLC: Enhanced Deepfake Detection Through Multi‐Level Collaborations
A novel Multi‐Level Collaborations (MLC) strategy to enhance the generalisation performance through simultaneously extracting and integrating three distinct levels of discriminative features during the encoding process. Three complementary forge clues: pixel‐level fine‐grained, region‐level facial layout, and semantic‐level deep clues, are integrated ...

The impact of SFCL and SMES integration on the distance relay [PDF]
Abstract The superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) is an ideal short-circuit fault current limiting device that can limit the fault current without any delay and control the voltage drop of the non-fault line. The superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) device can exchange the active and reactive power independently, so it is applied ...

High‐Current Cryogenic DC Solid‐State Circuit Breaker for Electric Aircraft
Cryogenic and superconducting technologies have great potential to significantly enhance the power density and efficiency of electric propulsion aircraft. This paper presents the design of a 300 V/1700 A DC solid‐state circuit breaker (SSCB) operating at cryogenic temperatures.
