Polydopamine Nanoparticle‐Mediated Precise Near‐Infrared Optical Stimulation for Cognitive Enhancement

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Polydopamine nanoparticles enable a precise, non‐genetic, and transcranial neuromodulation strategy via near‐infrared photothermal stimulation. By activating TRPV1 channels, this approach specifically enhances hippocampal gamma oscillations, thereby rescuing spatial memory deficits in models of perioperative neurocognitive disorder.

A silicon shadow mask for deposition on isolated areas

Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering, 2000
A shadow mask with high pattern flexibility is realized by deep reactive ion etching (RIE) on Si wafer. The novel features of the mask are the presence of a mechanical alignment structure and of patterns with isolated islands inside them. The advantage of this shadow mask is the possibility of deposition of any kind of pattern shape by evaporation or ...

Shadow masked pulsed laser deposition of WSex films: Experiment and modeling

Applied Surface Science, 2013
Abstract Pulsed laser deposition of WSex films was carried out in a buffer gas (Ar). The mask was placed between a WSe2 target and a substrate in order to prevent the deposition of micro- and nanoparticles. At Ar pressure of 2 Pa the laser plume was effectively scattered by the gas into a shadow area, and the ion bombardment of the film was the most ...

11‐4: Ionization Electric‐Field Organic Material Deposition Method for Reducing Shadow‐Mask Effect

Digest of Technical Papers SID International Symposium, 2021
To make a full‐color high‐resolution organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) device, it is necessary to reduce mask shadow effect. The ionization‐electric field organic material deposition was proposed as an advanced method of organic material thin film deposition to reduce mask shadow effect. The organic material was ionized by contact with tungsten (W)
