How to perform shear wave elastography. Part II
Recently a series of papers was introduced describing on “how to do” certain techniques. More specifically we published on how to perform strain imaging using the transcutaneous and endoscopic ultrasound approach and shear wave elastography (SWE).

Analysis of the bolt performance with shear force [PDF]
The bolt anchorage performance with shear force has been analysed by analytical method in this paper. By coding in Matlab, the loop and the judgment statement can be used to control the displacement angle. The force-displacement curve of the analysis model from the beginning of loading to the failure of the bolt under a certain displacement loading ...

Shear Behavior and Design of Innovative Stud-Reinforced Embedded Shear Connectors with Flanges
The embedded shear connector with flanges (ESCF) exhibits excellent shear performance in the steel–concrete composite beam. The ESCF consists of embedded corrugated steel web as the shear connector and shape-matched flanges for construction convenience ...

BOND AND SHEAR-STRENGTHENING PERFORMANCE OF FRCM COMPOSITES
This paper is aimed at studying the bond and shear-strengthening performance of fabric reinforced cementitious matrix (FRCM) systems. Three FRCM systems were compared, namely, polyparaphenylene benzobisoxazole (PBO)-FRCM, Carbon-FRCM, and Glass-FRCM. At first, six double-shear specimens were tested to investigate the FRCM/concrete bond, with the test ...

The Role of Interfacial Shear Strength in Composite Performance [PDF]
ABSTRACT This study investigates the role of interfacial shear strength (ISS) in governing the mechanical behavior of fiber‐reinforced composites through an experimental approach. The research explores how ISS influences stiffness, strength, and fracture mechanisms and involves an experimental campaign in three composite systems ...

Performance of Shear Reinforcement against Punching Shear Loads
This research targets to maximize the ductility and strength of the reinforced concrete flat slabs. However, to be efficient, the shear reinforcement must be anchored well in the tension and compression zones of the slab. The test results on the slab-column connection models which provided with shear reinforcement are introduced in this study.
