Carreau fluid model for blood flow through a tapered artery with a stenosis
In present article, we have studied the blood flow through tapered artery with stenosis. The non-Newtonian nature of blood in small arteries is analyzed mathematically by considering the blood as Carreau fluid.

Reexamination of string phase and shear thickening in simple fluids
String phase and shear thickening in simple fluids were studied. Configurational expression for the temperature was applied and a configurational thermostat was used.

CD4+ Tregs Drive Post‐Ischemic Sprouting Angiogenesis via Endothelial YY1/MAML1 Reactivation
ABSTRACT Microvascular complications of diabetes are chronic diseases of small vessels. We previously found that CD4+ regulatory T‐cells (Tregs) are markedly reduced in type 2 diabetes (T2D) after ischemic injury in both mice and humans, and that Treg deficiency in immunodeficient mice impairs vascular regeneration.

Advanced Stab Resistance Fabrics Utilizing Shear Thickening Fluids
A series of shear thickening fluids (STF) were prepared and characterized by Rheometer. The stab resistance of Kevlar and ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) non-woven fabrics impregnated with STF were investigated and found to exhibit ...

G3BP1 Succinylation at K413 is Critical for Cardiac Function by Modulating PI3K‐AKT‐mTOR Signal Axis
Schematic illustrating the impact of G3BP1 succinylation at K413 on cardiac function. In the healthy human heart, G3BP1 succinylation maintains homeostatic mTOR signaling. In patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and heart failure (HF), G3BP1 de‐succinylation induces RagA expression and disrupts the binding of the TSC1/2 complex, leading to the ...

Dynamic mechanical characteristics of starch-based shear thickening fluids at high strain rates
Shear thickening fluids (STFs) exhibit unique rheological properties, but research predominantly focuses on SiO2-based systems for ballistic applications, with limited studies on starch-based STFs (S-STFs) at high strain rates.

Suspensions having viscoelastic property are ubiquitous and find applications in variety of fields. One such suspension is that of the shear thickening fluid, which is non- Newtonian in nature and shows an increase in viscosity when subjected to shear.
