Bulletin of the Korean Mathematical Society, 2004 A bounded linear operator \(T\) on a Hilbert space \(H\) is said to be hypercyclic if, for some \(x \in H\), the orbit \(\{T^{n}x : n=0,1,2,\dots \}\) is dense in \(H\). In the paper under review, the authors give a characterization for hypercyclicity of a bilateral operator weighted shift \(T\) on the Hilbert space \(L^{2}(K)\).
