This study shows that almond polysaccharide AP1 relieves DSS‐induced UC in mice by restoring the mucosal barrier, suppressing inflammation, and modulating gut microbiota and SCFA metabolism. ABSTRACT The development of new therapeutic strategies for ulcerative colitis (UC) requires the targeting of multiple pathogenic factors, including disruption of ...

Our results indicate that although high‐dose parenteral iron effectively corrects iron deficiency anemia (IDA), it causes liver dysfunction, immune suppression, systemic iron overload, and altered gut microbiota. ABSTRACT Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is a common nutritional disorder in mammals, particularly affecting neonates and neonatal piglets ...

Perinatal Gut Dysbiosis Reduces Milk Oligosaccharides via LPS‐Mediated Gut–Mammary Signaling in Mice
Maternal gut dysbiosis elevates Gram‐negative bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS), which enters circulation and accumulates in mammary tissue. This compromises the blood–milk barrier and suppresses key enzymatic genes, ultimately reducing milk oligosaccharide synthesis and potentially affecting neonatal gut microbiota through breastfeeding.

Mechanism of intracellular bacterial parasitism
Algorithm of intracellular bacterial parasitism does not depend on if bacterium is obligate or facultative intracellular parasite. Depending on replicative niche’s localization intracellular bacterial parasites are divided onto cellular and vacuolated ...
