ABSTRACT Intestinal ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury presents a biphasic pathology: an acute oxidative‐inflammatory phase leading to organ failure, and a recovery phase marked by mucosal dysfunction and bacterial translocation. The developed MPB@TA‐Cu‐Ma nanocomposite functions as a dual‐phase therapeutic platform with significant efficacy. It rapidly

A time-accurate high-resolution TVD scheme for solving the Navier-Stokes equations [PDF]
A total variation diminishing (TVD) scheme has been developed and incorporated into an existing time-accurate high-resolution Navier-Stokes code. The accuracy and the robustness of the resulting solution procedure have been assessed by performing many ...

Connexin 43‐Enriched Vesicles Improve Synchronization in hiPSC‐Derived Cardiomyocytes
Plasma membrane‐derived Connectosomes enriched in connexin‐43 are produced from donor hiPSCs and applied to hiPSC‐derived cardiomyocytes (hiPSC‐CMs). Connexin‐43 channels on Connectosomes remain functional, strengthening intercellular electrochemical coupling and increasing network synchronization over time.

The chemical shock tube as a tool for studying high-temperature chemical kinetics [PDF]
Although the combustion of hydrocarbons is our primary source of energy today, the chemical reactions, or pathway, by which even the simplest hydro-carbon reacts with atmospheric oxygen to form CO2 and water may not always be known.

This study demonstrates that iron overload triggers widespread chromatin compaction and transcriptional repression in human granulosa cells, recapitulating features of endometriosis. The epigenetic reprogramming is orchestrated by a TFEB‐SOX4‐SWI/SNF axis, with SOX4 acting as a central, dosage‐sensitive regulator.

Tumor dsDNA released by cryoablation is taken up by macrophages, activating the cGAS‐STING signaling pathway. This leads to an expansion of the CXCL10+ macrophage pool and increased secretion of CXCL10, which in turn recruits CXCR3+ T cells from draining lymph nodes into the tumor microenvironment to exert anti‐tumor effects.

Microscopic phenomena and a modern approach to turbulence [PDF]
The use of an arc driven shock tube as a technique in the study of turbulence and evidence to support a kinetic theory of turbulence are described. Topics covered include: (1) reaction rate distortion in turbulent flow; (2) turbulent bursts in a shock ...
