Shoot Regeneration from Sunflower: A Histological Study [PDF]
ABSTRACTThe regeneration process in order to locate cells competent for morphogenesis was studied. This information should be valuable also for the production of transgenic plants. In several plant species, cotyledons exhibit a very high morphogenic potential and fertile plants can be recovered at high frequencies.

Principles for Rigorous Design and Application of Synthetic Microbial Communities
SynComs are artificially designed to enable inter‐species metabolic interactions, metabolic division of labor, and ecological interactions that can elicit phenotypes like colonization stability and environmental adaptation. This systematic review explores the processes used to construct SynComs, the assessment of the mechanisms of metabolic interaction

A retinoic acid receptor agonist, TTNPB, drives the efficient generation of advanced neural stem cells (ANSCs) from human pluripotent stem cells. TTNPB‐centered chromatin remodeling and metabolic reprogramming, promote neuroectoderm commitment. The resulting cells show robust neural potential and functional efficacy in a rat depression model.

Increased regeneration efficiency of _Brassica napus_ L. cultivars Star, Westar and Cyclone from hypocotyle and cotyledonary explants [PDF]
The comparative organogenesis of _Brassica napus_ L cultivars Cyclone, Star and Westar was studied. The cotyledonary explants gave a higher response to all the combinations of 0.5 mg/L 2,4-D and BAP (0.5, 1.0,1.5 and 2.0 mg/L} used for optimizing the ...

Halorotetin B, a novel small‐molecule terpenoid identified from an edible marine ascidian, exhibits strong anti‐tumor activity both in vitro and in vivo through direct targeting UBE2C to induce tumor cell cycle arrest and then lead tumor cell senescence. As a newly discovered UBE2C inhibitor, Halorotetin B can serve as a novel potential cell senescence
