Short Wavelength Fluctuations and Electron Transport in TFTR [PDF]
Correlation between electron heat diffusivity and short wavelength (kri {approximately} 5) fluctuation amplitude was observed in the Tokamak Fusion Test Reactor (TFTR) tokamak in the core of enhanced reversed shear (ERS) plasmas [1].

Supercurrent fluctuations in short filaments
We evaluate the average and the standard deviation of the supercurrent in superconducting nanobridges, as functions of the temperature and the phase difference, in an equilibrium situation. We also evaluate the autocorrelation of the supercurrent as a function of the elapsed time.

Eye wall resections for intraocular tumors: Our experience
We conducted a retrospective review of 11 eyes undergoing eye wall resection between October 1998 and October 2009. The median age of 11 patients was 29 years. Decreased vision (eight) was the most common presenting symptom.

Zero-Temperature Fluctuations in Short-Range Spin Glasses [PDF]
We consider the energy difference restricted to a finite volume for certain pairs of incongruent ground states (if they exist) in the d-dimensional Edwards-Anderson (EA) Ising spin glass at zero temperature. We prove that the variance of this quantity with respect to the couplings grows at least proportionally to the volume in any dimension greater ...
