Line-Interactive UPS as Shunt Active Power Filter

open access: yes2019 International Conference on Electrical Drives & Power Electronics (EDPE), 2019
This paper describes a newly proposed solution for using the line-interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system as a shunt active power filter. An overview of active power filters topologies and control strategies for active power filters are presented. The proposed solution is compared to similar solutions.

High Light Utilization and Color Rendering in Vacuum‐Deposited Semitransparent Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, low bandgap (≈1.55 eV) semitransparent perovskite solar cells (ST‐PSCs) having thin (thickness < ≈100 nm) perovskite layers and transparent conductive oxide‐based rear electrodes are fabricated using vacuum‐deposition methods. Two different ST‐PSCs demonstrated a high light utilization efficiency value of 4.2 (PCE: 9.26% and AVT: 45.3 ...
