A new isoprenyl flavone has been isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of the leaves of the Sida rhombifolia. The structure of the new compound has been established as 5, 7, 3', 4',-tetra hydroxy-3-isoprenyl flavone based on the spectral (UV, IR, 1H, 13C-NMR and Mass) data.

The structure of the new compound has been established as 5, 7-dihydroxy-4'-methoxy flavonol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside based on the spectral data using UV, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and Mass.
