TAMIS: Golden-Model-Free EM Trojan Detection via Temperature-Aware Multi-Instance Segmentation and Clustering

open access: yesIEEE Access
We present a Golden-Model-free framework for hardware Trojan (HT) detection that treats temperature not as noise to remove but as physical context that organizes electromagnetic (EM) variability.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Network Coding and Distributed Compression over Large Networks: Some Basic Principles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The fields of Network Coding and Distributed Compression have focused primarily on finding the capacity for families of problems defined by either a broad class of networks topologies (e.g., directed, acyclic networks) under a narrow class of demands (e ...

On the Security of Lightweight Homomorphic Obfuscation for Protecting Against Hardware Trojans

open access: yesTransactions on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems
Hardware Trojan (HT) attacks pose a critical threat to modern microelectronics by enabling the leakage of sensitive information, such as cryptographic keys, or by inducing functional faults.

Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Side-channel attacks on SIKE [PDF]

open access: yes
This thesis presents, firstly, an introduction to the current state of the art in isogeny-based cryptography, and secondly, a side-channel differential power analysis of SIKE—an isogeny-based key exchange algorithm—in semi-static mode. These attacks have

Distributed joint source channel coding on a multiple access channel with side information [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We consider the problem of transmission of several discrete sources over a multiple access channel (MAC) with side information at the sources and the decoder. Source-channel separation does not hold for this channel.

Pharmacological inhibition of the PERK pathway modulates hepatocellular carcinoma growth and immune signaling

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Early‐life high‐fat diet exposure increases Achilles tendon stiffness and induces transcriptomic alterations

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Understanding the key drivers of and technology related issues associated with going multi-channel [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A multi-channel retail strategy is viewed by many academics and practitioners to be the success model for most retailers. Yet, while there are many drivers of, and advantages related to, using multiple channels to sell products and services to customers ...
