Multiple solutions for semilinear elliptic equations with sign-changing potential and nonlinearity
In this article, we study the multiplicity of solutions for the semilinear elliptic equation $$\displaylines{ -\Delta u+a(x)u=f(x, u), \quad x\in \Omega,\cr u=0, \quad x \in \partial\Omega, }$$ where $ \Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^N$ $(N ...

The purpose of this paper is to study the existence of sign-changing solution to the following fourth-order equation: 0.1 Δ 2 u − ( a + b ∫ R N | ∇ u | 2 d x ) Δ u + V ( x ) u = K ( x ) f ( u ) in R N , $$ \Delta ^{2}u- \biggl(a+ b \int _{\mathbb{R}^{N}}

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

In this paper we are concerned with the existence of infinitely-many solutions for fractional Hamiltonian systems of the form tD∞α(-∞Dtαu(t))+L(t)u(t)=∇W(t,u(t))${\,}_tD^{\alpha }_{\infty }(_{-\infty }D^{\alpha }_{t}u(t))+L(t)u(t)=\nabla W(t,u(t ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

In order to expound the influence of sign-changing potential on logarithmic nonlinearity and Hatree nonlinearity. By the variational method, a weak solution to the problem is a critical point of the energy functional. Then, by the logarithmic inequality,

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Critical quasilinear Schrödinger equation with sign-changing potential
Summary: We study the existence of nontrivial solutions for a class of quasilinear Schrödinger equations in \(\mathbb R^N\) with critical nonlinearity, where the potential is allowed to change signs. The quasilinear equations are reduced to semilinear equations by using a change of variable.
