Oxide‐Free Titanium Coatings by Wire Arc Spraying in a Silane‐Doped Inert Atmosphere
A silane‐doped argon atmosphere enables the production of oxide‐free titanium coatings via twin‐wire arc spraying at ambient pressure. This innovative approach eliminates residual oxygen, creating process conditions that prevent oxidation and nitride formation.

Effect of Laser Deoxidation on Adhesive‐Bonded Aluminum in an Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere
This study investigates laser ablation of aluminum under oxygen‐free conditions. The goal is to produce oxide‐free substrates that enable improved adhesive bonding with epoxy. Optimized laser parameters (90% overlap, 300 µJ) combined with oxide‐free substrates result in the highest tensile strength of the adhesive bond.

Vibrational Energy Transfer in Silane and Silane Mixtures
Abstract The vibrational relaxation time for pure SiH4 is 0.10, 0.083 and 0.072 μsec atm (±30%) at 295 K, 375 K and 462 K. For SiH4 diluted in He, D2 and H2 the corresponding numbers are 0.16, 0.081 and 0.031 μsec atm (± 30%) at 295 K.
