DNA-templated fluorescent silver nanoclusters
Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2011In this review, we discuss the synthesis and applications of DNA-templated fluorescent silver nanoclusters in aqueous solution. Various oligonucleotide sequences or conformations have been utilized to synthesize silver nanoclusters with excellent fluorescence properties.

Synthesis and Characterization of Colloidal Fluorescent Silver Nanoclusters
Langmuir, 2012Ultrasmall water-soluble silver nanoclusters are synthesized, and their properties are investigated. The silver nanoclusters have high colloidal stability and show fluorescence in the red. This demonstrates that like gold nanoclusters also silver nanoclusters can be fluorescent.

Melting and Freezing of Free Silver Nanoclusters
The melting and freezing with two different cooling rates of AgN (N= 140, 360, 532, 784, and 952) nanoclusters are simulated by using molecular dynamics technique with the frame work of embedded atom method. The potential energy as a function of temperature is obtained and the structural details are analyzed.

Fluorescent silver nanoclusters
Nanoscale, 2011Silver nanoclusters are a class of fluorophores with attractive features, including brightness, photostability and subnanometer size. In this review we overview the different scaffolds that are used as stabilizer for silver nanoclusters (e.g.

Silver Sulfide Nanoclusters and the Superatom Model
The Journal of Physical Chemistry C, 2015The superatom model of electron-shell closings has been widely used to explain the stability of noble-metal nanoclusters of few nanometers, including thiolate-protected Au and Ag nanoclusters. The presence of core sulfur atoms in silver sulfide (Ag–S) nanoclusters renders them a class of clusters with distinctive properties as compared to typical noble-

Fluorescent silver nanoclusters as DNA probes
Nanoscale, 2013Fluorescent silver nanoclusters (few atoms, quantum sized) have attracted much attention as promising substitutes for conventional fluorophores. Due to their unique environmental sensitivities, new fluorescent probes have been developed based on silver nanoclusters for the sensitive and specific detection of DNA.

Plasmon Coupling in DNA-Assembled Silver Nanoclusters
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2021Quantum-size metal clusters with multiple delocalized electrons could support collective plasmon excitation, and thus, theoretically, coupling of plasmons in the few-atom limit might exist between assembled metal clusters, while currently few experimental observations about this phenomenon have been reported.

The solvent effect on the luminescence of silver nanoclusters
Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, 2013The solvent effect on the luminescence properties of highly stable water-soluble silver nanoclusters is discussed in this study. The polymer nanosphere templates swollen by organic solvents lead to the changes in the surrounding environments of silver nanoclusters, thus resulting in a significant influence on their luminescence.
