Plasma extrachromosomal circular DNA as a biomarker in EGFR‐targeted therapy of non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Detection of extrachromosomal circular DNA (eccDNA) in plasma samples from EGFR‐mutated non‐small cell lung cancer patients. Plasma was collected before and during treatment with the EGFR‐tyrosine kinase inhibitor osimertinib. Plasma eccDNA was detected in all cancer samples, and the presence of the EGFR gene on eccDNA serves as a potential biomarker ...

Vertex Operator Extension of Casimir W A(N) Algebras

open access: yes, 1998
We give an extension of Casimir of Casimir $\cal{WA_N}$ algebras including a vertex operator which depends on non-simple roots of $A_{N-1}$.Comment: 7 pages,no figures,TeX file,(to appear in Mod.Phys.Lett ...

Cis‐regulatory and long noncoding RNA alterations in breast cancer – current insights, biomarker utility, and the critical need for functional validation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The noncoding region of the genome plays a key role in regulating gene expression, and mutations within these regions are capable of altering it. Researchers have identified multiple functional noncoding mutations associated with increased cancer risk in the genome of breast cancer patients.

Perspectives in educating molecular pathologists on liquid biopsy: Toward integrative, equitable, and decentralized precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Liquid biopsy enables minimally invasive, real‐time molecular profiling through analysis of circulating biomarkers in biological fluids. This Perspective highlights the importance of training pathologists through integrative educational programs, such as the European Masters in Molecular Pathology, to ensure effective and equitable implementation of ...

Univariate real root isolation in an extension field

open access: yes, 2011
We present algorithmic, complexity and implementation results for the problem of isolating the real roots of a univariate polynomial in $B_{\alpha} \in L[y]$, where $L=\QQ(\alpha)$ is a simple algebraic extension of the rational numbers.

A parallel algorithm for simple roots for polynomials

open access: yesComputers & Mathematics with Applications, 1984
An algorithm for the simultaneous finding of simple roots is presented. It is based on the theory of divided differences. The most time-consuming parts can run in parallel on a SIMD computer (and thus also on a vector computer). The method compares favorably to Laguerre's and to Jenkins- Traub's method.

Simple Lie Algebras of Characteristic p with Dependent Roots [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1990
We investigate finite dimensional simple Lie algebras over an algebraically closed field F {\mathbf {F}} of characteristic p ⩾ 7 p \geqslant 7 having a Cartan subalgebra H H whose roots are dependent over F {

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Real univariate polynomials with given signs of coefficients and simple real roots

open access: yesМатематичні Студії
We continue the study of different aspects of Descartes' rule of signs and discuss the connectedness of the sets of real degree $d$ univariate monic polynomials (i.~e.

A distribution approach to finite-size corrections in Bethe Ansatz solvable models

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2018
We present a new and efficient method for deriving finite-size effects in statistical physics models solvable by Bethe Ansatz. It is based on the study of the functional that maps a function to the sum of its evaluations over the Bethe roots.
