Effectiveness of simplifying antiretroviral therapy to maintain viral suppression and improve bone and renal health: comparing simplified and non-simplified therapy [PDF]
Objective: Nucleoside/nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors, particularly tenofovir, can cause long-term side effects such as decreased bone mineral density and estimated glomerular filtration rate.

The cylindrical peg–hole system is a popular model in the study of assembly and disassembly operations. The analysis of peg–hole systems is customarily performed using simplified two-dimensional representations, viz. a vertical sectional view.

Semiautomatic simplification [PDF]
We present semisimp, a tool for semiautomatic simplification of three dimensional polygonal models. Existing automatic simplification technology is quite mature, but is not sensitive to the heightened importance of distinct semantic model regions such as faces and limbs, nor to simplification constraints imposed by model usage such as animation ...

A Novel Preprocessing Method for Dynamic Point-Cloud Compression
Computer-based data processing capabilities have evolved to handle a lot of information. As such, the complexity of three-dimensional (3D) models (e.g., animations or real-time voxels) containing large volumes of information has increased exponentially ...

Simplification and saving [PDF]
The daunting complexity of important financial decisions can lead to procrastination. We evaluate a low-cost intervention that substantially simplifies the retirement savings plan participation decision. Individuals received an opportunity to enroll in a retirement savings plan at a pre-selected contribution rate and asset allocation, allowing them to ...

SimS: A Simplification of SiGamal [PDF]
At Asiacrypt 2020, Moriya et al. introduced two new IND-CPA secure supersingular isogeny based Public Key Encryption (PKE) protocols: SiGamal and C-SiGamal. Unlike the PKEs canonically derived from SIDH and CSIDH, the new protocols provide IND-CPA security without the use of hash functions. SiGamal and C-SiGamal are however not IND-CCA secure.

Batch Simplification Algorithm for Trajectories over Road Networks
The steady increase in data generation by GPS systems poses storage challenges. Previous studies show the need to address trajectory compression. The demand for accuracy and the magnitude of data require effective compression strategies to reduce storage.
