Machine‐learning‐driven transcriptomic analysis identifies FSTL3 as a key tumor‐microenvironment regulator in desmoplastic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. A cRGD‐modified liposome co‐loading gemcitabine and siFSTL3 serves as an irradiation‐triggered in situ nanovaccine. It synergizes with radiotherapy to induce ferroptosis and immunogenic cell death through

The GPX3‐VCAM1 Axis Gates Pro‐Fibrotic Tubule Cell Fate in Hyperuricemic Nephropathy
Hyperuricemia induces NLRP3 inflammasome signaling activation and downregulation of GPX3 in proximal tubular epithelial cells, leading to oxidative stress–driven VCAM1 upregulation, emergence of pro‐fibrotic proximal tubule cells, macrophage recruitment, and renal fibrosis.

Tian et al. reveal that FH K112 lactylation is elevated after TBI, leading to fumarate accumulation, mitochondrial damage, mtDNA release and amplified neuroinflammation. AARS2 and SIRT3 act as the “writer” and “eraser” for FH K112 lactylation. The peptide Pep‐K112 targeting this site alleviates brain injury, highlighting a potential therapeutic target.

Milk digestion peptidomics: Tracking caseinophosphopeptides in simulated gastrointestinal digestion
Abstract The dynamics of caseinophosphopeptides (CPP) in simulated gastrointestinal digestion was studied. CPP in the undigested milk and in vitro simulated gastrointestinal hydrolysates were enriched using immobilized titanium(IV) ion affinity chromatography (Ti4+-IMAC) beads and measured using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.

52 Evaluation of barley digestibility with an in vitro total tract digestion simulation
Journal of Equine Veterinary Science, 2021Methods of investigating the digestibility of horse feeds have focused on the hindgut fermentation of feedstuffs, neglecting the foregut digestibility. The aim of this study was to evaluate the foregut digestibility and hindgut fermentation of barley in vitro.

Dynamic simulator for anaerobic digestion processes
Biotechnology and Bioengineering, 1982AbstractA transient, two‐culture model simulating methane production from biomass has been developed. The simulator, based partially on the work by Andrews and McCarty, is capable of calculating the hydrolysis products of several common organic materials, accommodating various substrate feeding modes, and simulating the transient physico‐biochemical ...

CFD simulation of mixing in anaerobic digesters
Bioresource Technology, 2009A three-dimensional CFD model incorporating the rheological properties of sludge was developed and applied to quantify mixing in a full-scale anaerobic digester. The results of the model were found to be in good agreement with experimental tracer response curve.
