Interactions of Microcarriers in Simulated Microgravity
Advances in Heat and Mass Transfer in Biotechnology, 1999Abstract In this study, we developed a numerical model that simulated the simultaneous motion of several microcarriers in the simulated microgravity environment of the NASA HARV bioreactor. Simulations were used to predict the interaction and collision of these multiple particles under different initial seeding densities.

Simulated microgravity‐induced epigenetic changes in human lymphocytes
Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, 2010AbstractReal space flight and modeled microgravity conditions result in changes in the expression of genes that control important cellular functions. However, the mechanisms for microgravity‐induced gene expression changes are not clear. The epigenetic changes of DNA methylation and chromatin histones modifications are known to regulate gene expression.
