This study developed a hierarchical targeting nanoplatform, siTREM2@ETP‐PEOz‐OMVs, against triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) bone metastasis. It precisely delivers therapeutic siTREM2 to monocytes/macrophages within the metastatic niche. This intervention dually regulates cell fate: reprogramming immunosuppressive macrophages and inhibiting ...

Economic Analysis of New Single-Inhaler Triple Therapies in Patients with COPD in the UK
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is associated with a substantial economic burden in the UK. Although previous analyses have compared the cost-effectiveness of single-inhaler triple therapy (SITT) versus dual therapy or multiple-inhaler triple therapy, there are no studies investigating the cost-effectiveness of individual SITTs versus ...

Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer‐related death. We investigated the role of the epigenetic regulator DMAP1 in NSCLC and found that its loss induces replication stress and DNA damage. This in turn activates type I IFN signaling via the cGAS–STING pathway and transcriptional ISG de‐repression, enhancing anti‐tumor immune responses ...

Despite widespread exposure, the mechanisms of manganese neurotoxicity remain poorly understood. Using correlative cryogenic fluorescence and synchrotron X‐ray fluorescence imaging techniques, we show that the Golgi apparatus is the primary accumulation site for manganese in both neurons and astrocytes, and that manganese targets the neuronal ...

Recent literature has shown that triple therapy is more effective than dual therapy for individuals with uncontrolled asthma. However, the comparative efficacy between different triple therapies remains unclear.

Addition of long-acting beta2-agonists to inhaled corticosteroids for chronic asthma in children [PDF]
Background Long-acting beta2-agonists (LABA) in combination with inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) are increasingly prescribed for children with asthma. Objectives To assess the safety and efficacy of adding a LABA to an ICS in children and adolescents with ...

ABSTRACT Mast cells (MCs), key innate immune sentinels at the host–environment interface, serve as primary responders to invading pathogens. However, their specific contribution to host defense against cutaneous Candida albicans (C. albicans) infection and their synergy with other immune and non‐immune cells remain poorly understood. Here, we show that

Producing MSCs on rigid culture substrates induces a scar‐making phenotype, jeapordizing therapeutic success. ‘Tissue‐soft’ surfaces prevent MSC fibrogenesis and preserve regenerative traits. An epigenetic network, driven by HOXA11 and SALL1, maintains ‘soft memory’ by keeping chromatin open in relaxed MSCs, promoting anti‐fibrotic programs.

This review surveys nanoparticle‐based strategies to enhance adoptive cell therapy, particularly CAR‐T cell approaches, in solid tumor treatment. It describes how nanoparticles can improve tumor immunogenicity and T‐cell infiltration while reducing toxicity, and how they enable in vivo CAR‐T cell generation.
