A low-cost single-stage PV inverter
2018 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2018This paper presents a low-cost single-stage PV inverter which integrates a front-end buck-boost converter and an output unfolding dc-ac inverter. It utilize only one main active switch (IGBT, MOSFET etc.) to regulate the output current and performs maximum power point tracking (MPPT) at the PV side. The buck-boost converter is operated in discontinuous

An isolated single stage buck-boost inverter
2008 IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference, 2008This paper presents a novel isolated single stage buck-boost inverter for implementing dc-to-ac, ac-to-dc or dc-to-dc. The BBI has better performances, in terms of low cost, high efficiency and high voltage gain. Through the HEV/EV application, the circuit operation principles and characteristics have been analyzed.

High step-up single-stage boost inverter
2011 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition, 2011This paper presents a high step-up single-stage boost inverter. The basic topology is known in the literature as a Z-source inverter (ZSI). The ZSI has the ability of buck-boost conversion. No dead time is needed in phase legs, so high reliability can be achieved.

Single-Stage Boost Inverter With Coupled Inductor
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2012Renewable power systems as distributed generation units often experience big changes in the inverter input voltage due to fluctuations of energy resources. Often, a front-end boost converter is added to step up the dc voltage when the energy resources are at a weak point.

A Single-Stage Square Wave Buck-Boost Inverter
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2015This paper proposed a novel single-stage square wave buck-boost inverter (SWBBI). The proposed inverter is designed by using dual buck-boost converters. The input DC voltage of the proposed inverter can be either stepped-down or stepped-up in square output voltage waveform depending on the duty-cycle applied for each buck-boost converter.

A step-up/down single-stage ZVS inverter
IECON 2015 - 41st Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2015In many applications such as power converters for fuel cells or distributed generating (DG) systems there is a need to increase the DC voltage before being inverted to AC grid or load with a higher voltage. The standard approach is to use a DC-DC converter to boost the input voltage followed by a buck inverter to converter the increased DC voltage into

A Novel Single-Stage Full-Bridge Buck-Boost Inverter
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2003A novel single-stage full-bridge series-resonant buck-boost inverter (FB-SRBBI) is proposed in this paper. The proposed inverter only includes a full-bridge topology and a LC resonant tank without auxiliary switches. The output voltage of the proposed inverter can be larger or lower than the dc input voltage, depending on the instantaneous duty-cycle ...
