New logarithmic operational laws and their applications to multiattribute decision making for single-valued neutrosophic numbers [PDF]

open access: yesCognitive Systems Research, 2018
Neutrosophic set, initiated by Smarandache, is a novel tool to deal with vagueness considering the truth, indeterminacy and falsity memberships satisfying the condition that their sum is less than 3. This set can be used to characterize the information more accurately than the intuitionistic fuzzy set.

A Neutrosophic Set‐Based Active Contour Model for Medical Image Segmentation

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
We propose a neutrosophic set‐based active contour model for accurate and efficient segmentation of magnetic resonance (MR) and retinal images. By combining neutrosophic truth, falsity, and indeterminacy subsets with a Heaviside‐based level set formulation, the method robustly handles noise, intensity inhomogeneity, and weak edges.

A Method of Determining Multi-Attribute Weights Based on Single-Valued Neutrosophic Numbers and Its Application in TODIM [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, 2019
In this paper, the TODIM method is used to solve the multi-attribute decision-making problem with unknown attribute weight in venture capital, and the decision information is given in the form of single-valued neutrosophic numbers. In order to consider the objectivity and subjectivity of decision-making problems reasonably, the optimal weight is ...

AIRP‐UNet: A Multimodal Brain Tumour Segmentation Method Based on Attention‐Guided Inverted Residual Pyramid Network

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Glioma segmentation from multimodal MRI is challenging due to tumour heterogeneity and imaging noise. To address this, we propose AIRP‐UNet, an asymmetric hybrid network that integrates an attention‐guided inverted residual decoder and a pyramid pooling module to selectively focus on tumour regions and capture multi‐scale context.

Big Data and Innovation: The State of the Art and Future Research Directions

open access: yesR&D Management, Volume 56, Issue 1, Page 3-36, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Companies are increasingly aware of the benefits that can come from using big data. Of the various ways firms can make use of big data, in our research we have focused specifically on its use for innovation. As there are still many aspects that need to be clarified in this respect, our study addresses the following research question: how can ...

Aggregation of triangular fuzzy neutrosophic set information and its application to multi-attribute decision making [PDF]

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems, 2016
This paper is devoted to propose triangular fuzzy number neutrosophic sets by combining triangular fuzzy numbers with single valued neutrosophic set and define some of its operational rules.

A ranking method of single valued neutrosophic numbers and its applications to multi-attribute decision making problems [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics, 2016

A Decision‐Making Problem for Smartphone Selection Using Neutrosophic Distance Measures

open access: yesAdvances in Fuzzy Systems, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
A neutrosophic distance measure using average functions is defined, and the metric axioms are verified by discussing its properties on a neutrosophic structure. Further, the similarity measure’s axioms are also derived for the complement of the proposed distance measure.

Edelstein Fixed Point Theorem in Neutrosophic Metric Spaces With an Application to an SIR‐Type Epidemic Model

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this paper, utilizing the concept of neutrosophic metric spaces proposed by Kirisci and Simsek, we establish a fixed point theorem of Edelstein type within this framework. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the validity of the main result. Furthermore, we present an application to a general SIR‐type epidemic model.
