ROTATIONAL LORDOSIS: THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SINGLE CURVE [PDF]
This paper is a theoretical and experimental study of the processes involved in the development of curvature of the spine which we have come to call scoliosis. Reasons are advanced why the term scoliosis in its modern meaning may be misleading and an alternative title of Rotational Lordosis is suggested.

Single Parameter Model for Galaxy Rotation Curves
One key piece of evidence for dark matter is the rotation-curve problem: the disagreement between measured galactic rotation curves and their luminous mass.

Oblivious transfer based on single-qubit rotations [PDF]
We present a bit-string quantum oblivious transfer protocol based on single-qubit rotations. Our protocol is built upon a previously proposed quantum public-key protocol and its practical security relies on the laws of Quantum Mechanics. Practical security is reflected in the fact that, due to technological limitations, the receiver (Bob) of the ...

Left-to-right rotated single lung transplant
Abstract We successfully performed left-to-right rotated single lung transplants in 2 patients. For this procedure, the left pulmonary artery of the donor undergoes a U-shaped turn with A3 at the bottom to anastomose with the recipient’s right pulmonary artery in front of the bronchus.

ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.

Single‐Incision Rotator Cuff Repair With a Needle Arthroscope [PDF]
Abstract Arthroscopy frequently has been used to treat a variety of shoulder conditions, including rotator cuff tears. Arthroscopic techniques, when compared with open techniques, are associated with less morbidity, leading to lower complication rates, easier recovery, and improved outcomes ...

ABSTRACT Background General pediatricians often evaluate hematologic and oncologic presentations before subspecialty consultation, yet the 2025 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) pediatric requirements reduce inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology (PHO) time, raising questions about resident readiness.

Angle Estimation of Simultaneous Orthogonal Rotations from 3D Gyroscope Measurements
A 3D gyroscope provides measurements of angular velocities around its three intrinsic orthogonal axes, enabling angular orientation estimation. Because the measured angular velocities represent simultaneous rotations, it is not appropriate to consider ...
