Single-Stage, Autologous Breast Restoration

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 2001
The skin-sparing mastectomy, when performed with immediate reconstruction, is a major advance in breast reconstruction. Traditionally, reconstruction of the nipple-areola complex is performed as a subsequent procedure. In this study, 17 patients (mean age, 43 years; range, 35 to 53 years) underwent one-stage breast and nipple-areola reconstruction over

Computer-assisted single-stage cranioplasty

2015 37th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC), 2015
Cranioplasty treats and repairs cranial defects with a custom craniofacial implant (CCI). Typically, surgeons know the defect size prior to surgery. Recent efforts consider single-stage cranioplasty-performing the bony resection and fixating the CCI in a single operation.

Single-stage Amplifiers

1985
In chapter 4, the response of junction transistors to small signals was investigated. The transistor was, of course, assumed to be suitably biased to give normal operating conditions, the small input and output signals being superimposed on standing levels.

Single-Stage versus Two-Stage Modified Fontan Procedure

Asian Cardiovascular and Thoracic Annals, 2007
We compared surgical outcomes of the single-stage and two-stage modified Fontan procedures to clarify clinical superiority. Of 28 children undergoing a modified Fontan procedure from October 1995 to October 2005, 15 had a 1-stage and 13 had a 2-stage operation.

Single‐Stage Superchargers

Aircraft Engineering and Aerospace Technology, 1940
IN many types of engine the supercharger is built on to the accessory‐drive end, that is the rear of the engine, so that the supercharger shaft lies co‐axially or parallel with the crankshaft. This has the great advantage of permitting the use of simple spur gearing, but suffers from the disadvantage that in passing through both intake and delivery ...

Experience with single stage hypospadias reconstruction

Journal of Pediatric Surgery, 1986
Our experience with single stage primary hypospadias repair in 96 patients over a 12-month period is reviewed. The ages ranged from 7 months to 14 years with an average of 3.5 years. Seventeen patients were 18 months or younger at the time of operation.

Single Stage Versus Two Stage Repair

2004
Opinions about the best operative technique for patients with hypospadias have varied, evolving with time. Until the 1960s, the accepted methods for surgical management of hypospadias involved a two-stage approach. The most popular techniques were those of Thiersch (1869) and Duplay (1880), modified and popularised by Byars (1955), and that of Nove ...

Correlations of Single-Stage and Cascaded Two-Stage Single-Stage Precipitation Efficiencies to Particle Resistivity

IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1984
Precipitation efficiencies for redispersed welding smoke are measured as functions of humidity and hence resistivity for a single-stage precipitator and for a cascaded two-stage-single-stage combination. Weight efficiencies are obtained through measurements of dust delivered by a feeder apparatus and dust collected on a filter beyond the precipitation ...

Single-stage Instance Segmentation

ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications, and Applications, 2020
Albeit the highest accuracy of object detection is generally acquired by multi-stage detectors, like R-CNN and its extension approaches, the single-stage object detectors also achieve remarkable performance with faster execution and higher scalability.
