SINGULAR RANDOM MATRIX DECOMPOSITIONS: DISTRIBUTIONS. [PDF]
Assuming that Y has a singular matrix variate elliptically contoured distribution with respect to the Hausdorff measure, the distributions of several matrices associated to QR, modified QR, SV and Polar decompositions of matrix Y are determined, for ...

Finite Element Quadrature of Regularized Discontinuous and Singular Level Set Functions in 3D Problems [PDF]
Regularized Heaviside and Dirac delta function are used in several fields of computational physics and mechanics. Hence the issue of the quadrature of integrals of discontinuous and singular functions arises.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

SINGULAR RANDOM MATRIX DECOMPOSITIONS: JACOBIANS. [PDF]
For a singular random matrix Y, we find the Jacobians associated with the following decompositions; QR, Polar, Singular Value (SVD), L´U, L´DM and modified QR (QDR).

A priori bounds and existence results for singular boundary value problems
This article furnishes qualitative properties for solutions to two-point boundary value problems (BVPs) which are systems of singular, second-order, nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The right-hand side of the differential equation is allowed to

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Global structure of positive solutions for superlinear singular m-point boundary-value problems
Using topological methods and a well known generalization of the Birkhoff-Kellogg theorem, we study the global structure of a class of superlinear singular m-point boundary value problem.

Existence of positive periodic solutions for higher order singular functional difference equations
We study a higher order singular functional difference equation on $\mathbb{Z}$. Sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of at least one positive periodic solution of the equation.

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) were analyzed to detect ESR1 mutations and methylation in patients with advanced breast cancer. CTC‐derived DNA showed higher sensitivity for mutation detection and revealed complementary genetic and epigenetic alterations, highlighting the added value of CTC analysis for understanding ...
