On the adjoint of a symmetric operator [PDF]
In general it is a non-trivial task to determine the adjoint S* of an unbounded symmetric operator S in a Hilbert or Krein space. We propose a method to specify S* explicitly which makes use of two boundary mappings that satisfy an abstract Green's ...

A Plug‐and‐Play Platform for Customizing Multivalent Degraders and Degrader‐Drug Conjugates
Membrane proteins remain challenging targets for conventional TPD approaches. Here, the authors develop UPTAB, a modular platform leveraging ultrahigh‐affinity orthogonal Im/CL protein pairs for lysosomal degradation of membrane proteins. Mono‐targeted (Type‐I), dual‐targeted (Type‐II), and tri‐targeted (Type‐III) UPTABs enable simultaneous degradation

In this article we establish the existence of at least two distinct solutions to singular elliptic equations involving a concave term and critical Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg exponent with sign-changing weight functions.

Strong‐yet‐ductile precipitation‐hardening alloys require novel microstructural complexity of precipitates in particularly at cryogenic condition, to constantly impart strain hardening of hard‐and‐brittle precipitates. The present work creates innovative structurally complex precipitates assembled with dispersed nanocores and a chemical‐heterogeneity ...

On The Existence Conditions for New Kinds of Solutions to (3+1)-Dimensional mKDV and mBBM Equations
In this work, we consider (3+1) dimensional nonlinear partial differential equations, namely modified KdV and Benjamin-Bona-Mahony equations. Different types of solutions to these equations are derived by Jacobi elliptic sine function expansion method ...

Entropy Decoding the Fundamental Law of Phase Competition in Glass Formation
We validate the integration of intermetallic and eutectic phases as initial phases for composition design. The phase competition mechanism in glass formation is quantitatively clarified based on the melting entropy of competing phases. Glass‐forming ability is modulated by tuning phase competition via the melting entropy of initial phases.
