CRACKING IN SHEET STRUCTURAL ELEMENT UNDER NON-UNIFORM STRESS FIELD

open access: yesStructural Mechanics of Engineering Constructions and Buildings, 2017
We give a mathematical description of calculation model for cracking in sheet structural element under a non-uniform stress field. The model of pre-fracture zones in state of plastic flow under constant stresses was accepted.

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

Directional Flow of Confined Polaritons in CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
CrSBr, a layered magnetic semiconductor, naturally channels self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons into highly directional flow. Its intrinsic optical anisotropy, high refractive index, and strong lightmatter coupling enable long‐range guided modes along the a‐axis, with propagation lengths set by their excitonphoton admixture.

A Nonlinear Weakly Singular Retarded Henry-Gronwall Type Integral Inequality and Its Application

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
We establish a class of new nonlinear retarded weakly singular integral inequality. Under several practical assumptions, the inequality is solved by adopting novel analysis techniques, and explicit bounds for the unknown functions are given clearly.

Polyimide‐Linked Hexaazatriphenylene‐Based Porous Organic Polymer with Multiple Redox‐Active Sites as a High‐Capacity Organic Cathode for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A high‐capacity polyimide‐linked porous organic polymer (HAT‐PTO) incorporating numerous redox‐active centers is synthesized via a hydrothermal reaction, delivering a high theoretical capacity of 484 mAh g−1. In situ hybridization with carboxyl‐functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes enhances conductivity and stability, achieving 397 mAh g−1 at C ...

Ubiquitous Antiparallel Domains in 2D Hexagonal Boron Nitride Uncovered by Interferometric Nonlinear Optical Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Interferometric second‐harmonic generation (SHG) imaging reveals the ubiquitous formation of antiparallel domains in CVD‐grown 2D hexagonal boron nitride. By resolving lattice orientation and SHG phase, hidden domain structures and disorder become visible over large areas. The SHG intensity quantitatively tracks crystalline quality across growth routes,

Non-linear singular integral equations analysis for unsteady cascade aeroelasticity applied in turbomachines

open access: yesArchives of Mechanics, 2013
A two-dimensional unsteady cascade aeroelasticity is introduced for the investigation of flow fields of turbomachines (gas or steam). Especially, the velocity field around a cascade of airfoils is determined, while such a problem is reduced to the ...
