BLACK-HOLE SOLUTION WITHOUT CURVATURE SINGULARITY [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 2013
An exact solution of the vacuum Einstein field equations over a nonsimply-connected manifold is presented. This solution is spherically symmetric and has no curvature singularity. It can be considered as a regularization of the Schwarzschild solution over a simply-connected manifold, which has a curvature singularity at the center.

Overexpression of CDT1 inhibits cell cycle progression at S phase by interacting with the mini‐chromosome maintenance complex and causes DNA damage

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CDT1 is an essential protein for DNA replication licensing that loads the MCM complex, the eukaryotic replicative DNA helicase, onto replication origins. Overexpression of CDT1 induces cell cycle arrest at the S phase. Here we showed CDT1 inhibits the progression of replication forks by interacting with the MCM complex, leading to the stalling and ...

On Solution of Regular Singular Ordinary Boundary Value Problem

open access: yesIbn Al-Haitham Journal for Pure and Applied Sciences, 2017
This paper devoted to the analysis of regular singular boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations with a singularity of the different kind , we propose semi - analytic technique using two point osculatory interpolation to construct ...

Integral Bifurcation Method together with a Translation-Dilation Transformation for Solving an Integrable 2-Component Camassa-Holm Shallow Water System

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
An integrable 2-component Camassa-Holm (2-CH) shallow water system is studied by using integral bifurcation method together with a translation-dilation transformation.

Periodic Solutions for Singular Conservative Systems

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1994
The author looks for periodic solutions of the system \((*)\) \(\ddot q+ V' (q)= 0\), where \(q\in \mathbb{R}^N\) and \(V(x)\to -\infty\) as \(x\to 0\). This problem has been examined in the literature from two different points of view: a) given \(T>0\), one seeks for solutions of \((*)\) having \(T\) as a period; b) given \(h\in R\), one seeks for ...

A general model for analysis of linear and hyperbolic enzyme inhibition mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We developed a general enzyme kinetic model that integrates these six basic inhibition mechanism onto a single one. From this model, we deduced a general enzyme kinetic equation that through modulation of simple parameters, γ (the relative inhibitor affinity for two binding sites) and β (the reactivity of the enzyme–substrate–inhibitor complex), is ...

Diabetes‐induced vascular calcification is associated with low pyrophosphate and its oral supplementation prevents calcification in diabetic mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Induction of diabetes in three different mouse strains uniformly resulted in an increase in TNAP activity and a reduction in pyrophosphate (PPi) in the circulation. Inhibition of TNAP restored plasma PPi. Diabetes‐induced calcification in the media layer of the aorta was detected only in the Abcc6−/− strain, which is predisposed to ectopic ...

Evolutionary dynamics of the chloroplast genome in Daphne (Thymelaeaceae): comparative analysis with related genera and insights into phylogenetics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Comparative analysis of chloroplast genomes from 14 genera of Thymelaeaceae revealed variation in gene content, ranging from 128 to 142 genes, primarily influenced by IR expansion/contraction events and pseudogenization of ndhF, ndhI, and ndhG. Two large inversions were detected within the large single‐copy region, including a synapomorphic inversion ...

An efficient spectral method for nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equations with weakly singular kernels

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis
For Volterra integro-differential equations (VIDEs) with weakly singular kernels, their solutions are singular at the initial time. This property brings a great challenge to traditional numerical methods. Here, we investigate the numerical approximation
