Singular solutions of a p-Laplace equation involving the gradient
In this article we obtain positive singular solutions of (1) { − Δ p u = | ∇ u | q i n Ω , u = 0 o n ∂ Ω , where Ω is a small C 2 perturbation of the unit ball in R N .

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

A Study of Singular Similarity Solutions to Laplace’s Equation with Dirichlet Boundary Conditions
The infinite series solution to the boundary-value problems of Laplace’s equation with discontinuous Dirichlet boundary conditions was found by using the basic method of separation of variables.

A mathematical model for the use of energy resources: a singular parabolic equation
We consider a singular parabolic equation, for , arising in symmetric boundary layer flows. Here is a bounded domain with C2 boundary is bounded, and T > 0 is some fixed time.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Enhanced Low-Rank Matrix Approximation
This letter proposes to estimate low-rank matrices by formulating a convex optimization problem with non-convex regularization. We employ parameterized non-convex penalty functions to estimate the non-zero singular values more accurately than the nuclear

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Periodic Solutions Bifurcating From a Curve of Singularity of the Jerk System
We investigate a periodic solution which bifurcates from a curve of the singularity of the jerk system in .More precisely, we give the explicit states for the existence of a periodic solution of the jerk system with a nonisolated singular point, where ...
